vitor
Workflows have to be explicitly called. If nothing is running, there’re no resources to use. Link to comment
luckman212
Follow up question: What impact does having a large number of installed workflows have? Should we disable unused or rarely used workflows for performance reasons? I have 110 workflows right now, which feels like about 5x too many 🙃 but performance seems fine. Link to comment
vitor
@luckman212 Same answer applies. If you’re not using it, you won’t notice it. Efficiency and low resource usage are way up on the list of Alfred priorities. Link to comment
luckman212
Thanks Vitor. That performance is one of the reasons I love Alfred. I tried Raycast when it came out because everyone was hyping about it, but I immediately noticed how much slower it felt than Alfred. I dumped it after a few hours. Link to comment
