Anime Search: search the myanimelist database

While there are a bunch of workflows to search movie databases such as IMDb, there were none to search anime, so I made a one.

 

Usage
Search all anime listed in the `myanimelist` database via the keyword `an`.

• ⏎: Open at myanimelist.net.
• ⌘⏎: Copy the Japanese (romaji) title.
• ⌥⏎: Copy the `myanimelist` URL.

There is one, but huge thumbs up on creating your own, because between those two we’re covering the most popular (and different) sources. May I recommend adding Manga support as well, since MAL also tracks those?

Ah, seems I have missed that one. Nice, more coverage is always good.

Hmm, I think I prefer this one to exclusively focus on anime. My older projects had so much feature creep, that I tend to now prefer a narrow scope to keep my projects manageable 🙈

 

Some ideas I have for potential future features are anime-exclusive anyway (e.g. integration with streaming services)
