arnaldop Posted July 25 Posted July 25 When using Clipboard History, when I click Cmd+C, most of the time it "purrs", as if I had clicked Cmd+C+C. I have to go back and copy again, and then I get just the most recent copied content. I have only tested this with text, and that is my only concern at the moment. Thanks!
Vero Posted July 26 Posted July 26 @arnaldop Welcome to the forum! This purr sound means one of two things: Clipboard Merging is enabled on your Mac. If this isn't a feature you want/need, you can disable it in Features > Clipboard > Merging. Secondly, you're most likely using an app that manipulates the clipboard (e.g. iTerm) or you have a second clipboard tool running at the same time, which is performing a copy at the same time as you using Cmd + C, resulting in the purr and merging of the last two clipboard items. For this, you can either disable the other app/tool's copying action, so that it doesn't cause a double-copying, or you can simply disable merging as suggested above. If you're able to share which app was doing the double-copying, it might be helpful to other community members in the future Cheers, Vero
vitor Posted July 26 Posted July 26 See also the KB article on Clipboard History and iTerm2 in case that is the app you’re using.
arnaldop Posted August 1 Author Posted August 1 Seems like that was the problem. Thank you so much!!!
