PatrickH
An app I installed today is not showing up in Alfred's search results no matter what I do. I'm running Alfred 5.5 [2257] on macOS 14.6. It's installed in an odd place, which might be part of the problem: /Library/Application Support/Dexcom/Uploader/. I did add that folder to the Search Scope, but it didn't help. I then tried rebooting the machine, but that didn't help either. Next I ran File Search troubleshooting, and everything seemed to check out fine: Starting Diagnostics... Vero
@PatrickH This is a location that isn't returned in the macOS index, so if it's only one app that you need to dig out of this particular location, I'd suggest creating a tiny workflow with an Open File object Follow the example in this post to create your two-object workflow: https://www.alfredapp.com/blog/tips-and-tricks/give-files-nicknames-to-find-them-faster/ And welcome to the forum! PatrickH
@Vero Ah, that explains it. I just rebuilt the metadata index and that didn't help either, but now I know why :-) I'll give that workflow a try – thank you! Link to comment
