gloogloo
I'm working on a workflow that allows users to trigger options with modifiers. I noticed the FN modifier doesn't work in the new Text View, while all other modifiers function properly. I also tested the FN modifier with different action blocks (keyword triggers) to confirm the issue isn't with my keyboard. Just reporting here. I'm on the latest Alfred 5.5 [2257] Link to comment
FireFingers21
Another related bug is when no "Action modifier" is checked, holding fn on its own or alongside any other modifier keys still allows connected objects to run when they shouldn't. This applies to all objects supporting Alternative Actions, not just the Text View. Link to comment
vitor
Thank you for reporting this. We’re aware of it (also affects the Grid View) and will look into it. Link to comment
vitor
@gloogloo This should be fixed in Alfred 5.5.1 b2273, currently in pre-release. @FireFingers21 After looking into it, it’s not a bug but working as expected. Alfred follows the no-modifier path when modifiers do not match. If you have Action Modifiers set in Alfred Preferences → Advanced (does not include fn), they match. If you make one of them blank, you’ll see it behaves the same way. Also if you press a bunch of unassigned modifiers together. gloogloo 1 Link to comment
