JonathanE Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 I am on Mac OS. People message me via email or LinkedIn or WhatsApp, and I need to be able to look for keywords that may appear in any three of these information streams. Can Alfred search within these? Will it be able to search my LinkedIn messages via the web? Or do I need to download a third party app that downloads these messages onto my Mac? Thanks for any solutions.
Vero Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 @JonathanE Each of these services will store their data in different ways, so you'll need to find out from the respective services where and how data is stored first (whether it's stored locally on your Mac, or accessed from the web via an API) I have little experience with LinkedIn, but if there is a LinkedIn community area, you may want to ask there. Once you have the data in a readable format, Alfred will likely be able to help you search it. Alternatively, the simplest option may be to create a custom search by following the same steps outlined in this guide, but for the LinkedIn messenger part of the website: https://www.alfredapp.com/help/features/web-search/custom-searches/
