Snippets not working since updating MacOS to Sequoia 15.0

Oddly, some Alfred features are working fine (like search) but Snippets are not.

I'm in a bit of a panic bc my job depends on Snippets!

I've made sure Alfred is up to date 4.8.

I've tried quitting and re-opening Alfred.

What else should I check?

Sadly not 😀: the current release version is 5.5 (but maybe you're on an older version of macOS).

That said, the best place to start is working through the various suggestions on this Alfred help page: Snippets and Text Expansion Troubleshooting.

You may also need to consider where you're storing Alfred's preferences: Ensuring preferences are available offline.

Do I understand correctly you have to pay for a "powerpack" in order to upgrade to 5.5?

Not so far as I'm aware. However as Snippets are part of the PowerPack features you presumably must have the PP already if Snippets were at some time working.

@krompson Welcome to Alfred 5 :) For context, your license was an Alfred 4 Single User license (valid for Alfred 4 only) and I can see you've now upgraded to Alfred 5 to take advantage of all the excellent features that have been added!

There's been even more, but this will give you a brief summary of the new Alfred 5 features you now have access to:
