Can't get paste to work

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but even though I have "Auto paste on return" checked in Clipboard History, paste does not work. Help!

@tomguarriello As we spoke earlier by email, I know you've just installed Alfred 5 recently, so could you please check that you've granted Alfred the appropriate permissions?

If they were previously granted but don't seem to behave as expected, you can re-grant them:

But, now I can't seem to retrieve images...they don't show up in clipboard history. I'm currently using SnagIt for image to clipboard functionality.

@tomguarriello Could you share a screenshot of your Clipboard History prefs so that I can check whether you've included images?

 

Edited to add: Could you also clarify what app is your pasting destination?

In fact, could you please provide your Diagnostics file, which you can get by typing "?diagnostics" into Alfred? You can then email them to our info@ address so that I can take a look at your Alfred prefs.

@tomguarriello That's great - thanks! I've had a look and everything looks in order. 

 

Can you confirm that pasting text from the clipboard works as expected in TextEdit or any other app? 

 

Please ensure that you are not running SnagIt at the same time as it may be interfering with Alfred being able to copy to clipboard.

 

Provided text works fine, the next thing to check is whether you're copying a file or an image. Check in Alfred, a file shows a File: prefix, and an image shows an... Image: prefix  Sorry, obvious I know!

 

 

I don't use Ulysses but tested images in Keynote and images paste normally, so if you're definitely using an image and it's not pasting, could you record a screen capture so that I can see what steps you're taking?

I think it's a Snagit problem...which I'm going to continue to use because it allows me to do quick image selections with mouse and saves in one place...I'll use Alfred for text clipboard management. Thanks.
