alc Posted November 10 Posted November 10 (edited) I have been looking at the File Search help page. When I get results, I would like them sorted by date. Alfred often puts an old "backup" version of a file ahead of the current version. Under "Sorting Preferences and Order", it says that you can sort by Quote "Using the cog in bottom right of the File Navigation window" But I guess this only applies to "File Navigation" and not "File Search". Is there any way I can get Alfred to sort the "File Search" window? Edited November 10 by alc added an example
sepulchra Posted November 10 Posted November 10 if you are referring to your search results, alfred learns your usage and what you choose in your searches. You can learn more about alfred's knowledge here. That said, if wanted to build some file filters, you can use the limit and sort functions to sort by other methods ... not just alfred's default knowledge.
alc Posted November 11 Author Posted November 11 (edited) Thanks! "File Filter" works great. I use a hotkey to bring up the File Search. It's interesting (and great) that I don't need to provide a Keyword in the File Filter itself. Edited November 11 by alc I use a Hotkey
