Add bookmark search for other browsers

I have loved Alfred so far, and love the idea of the bookmark search feature. I currently support the Orion browser and also use the Firefox browser. Would it be possible and in your possible interest to add bookmark search support for these browsers?

As to support for Firefox, there is already a workflow for that.

Thank you for the welcome. 😄️ And I appreciate you pointing out the workflow. I will see if I can find a way to rework the Firefox workflow to accommodate the Orion browser.

 

Do you know if there is any tradeoff for speed or other tradeoff?

Sorry, as I don't use the workflow myself I can't answer that. The best thing to do is to try the workflow and see.

That workflow already supports Orion. It’s an option in the Workflow’s Configuration.

For clarification, my workflow can indeed be configured to open bookmarks in Orion, but it will only list bookmarks saved in Firefox. I've thought about creating a workflow for Orion bookmarks, but the browser is still in beta and its bookmarks get copied to a new folder every update, creating the potential for a lot of annoying and unnecessary issues. I would like to revisit the idea though when Orion is fully released.

There shouldn't be any tradeoffs using the workflow. It stands out because it's extremely fast and I put significant effort into making it work immediately out of the box without extra configuration (it's still quite configurable though). But as @Stephen_C already said, try it out for yourself and see. The forum thread is there for any feedback you have.

Thank you so much to all of you. I will definitely try the workflow. And honestly, that isn't too bad to import the bookmarks into Firefox and then open with Orion. I totally understand prioritizing other things until Orion's behavior is more final.
