vex Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 (edited) This simple Alfred workflow allows you to batch rename files in Finder using a simple "find and replace" functionality via universal action. Perfect for reorganizing files, standardizing file names, or making bulk changes quickly. It is a very simple thing but I find it very useful. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/j9owey8np76kepn618p5e/Replace-Text.alfredworkflow?rlkey=hk1olkfr0s30fegtpkru3mhhe&st=gzc6z1zq&dl=1 Features: • Supports any file type. • Simple text-based search and replace. • Prompts for dynamic input (search term and replacement text). • Retains file extensions during renaming. How to Use: 1. Select one or more files in Finder. 2. Activate Alfred's Universal Action. 3. Choose the "Replace Text" action. 4. Follow the prompts to enter the text to find and the replacement text. 5. Files will be renamed instantly based on your input. Edited December 8, 2024 by vex JJJJ 1
