Display error with transparent backgrounds

Recommended Posts

Steps to reproduce:

1. Set all backgrounds to 50% opacity

2. Begin typing into Alfred, eg "ph"

3. Delete the last character typed

Result:

The characters are not correctly deleted, nor are the previous results. They leave "ghosts" behind them.

Alfred: v2.0.3. (187) on 10.8.3

Thanks!

I can't replicate this behavior. Here's the theme I'm using: http://cl.ly/3t0A1H0Z1n2Q

Can you replicate this behavior with other opacity levels or with the theme I'm using?

I'm unable to replicate this issue as well unless there is an additional step to replicate that you may have missed.

With some graphics card / mac combos, this is actually a latent window shadow issue where your Mac isn't clearing out the window shadowing under the text. If you use the window blurring hack, not only will this theme look better, but also this issue should go away:

I still get ghosting unless i have the blur set to like 5, even then i can faintly see it.
