lidocayne
Many applications now (1password, Transmit, etc) use dropbox to sync across multiple computers. This would be very useful, so that if I install a workflow on one computer, it would also be present on all the computers on which I use Alfred. Just a suggestion. Thank you! You can sync using Dropbox. See Alfred Preferences, Advanced. I think lidocayne is more specifically referring to Alfred using the actual Dropbox API where Alfred would sync to the Apps folder. Alfred currently doesn't do that because by allowing a simpler method of syncing (just choosing a sync folder) then it works for any kind of syncing a user could have set up including, Google Drive, Dropbox, BTSync, Cubby, etc. Andrew has been in contact with the people at Dropbox over the issue of people selecting the Apps folder to sync in the past. Whether he chooses to eventually use the Dropbox API directly is unknown, but I would think that since the current method provides a sync method for many more services and makes Alfred a lot more flexible, that he would stay with something like that. Hope that clears things up a bit
