kevindeleon
In Alfred V1 w/ Powerpack I was able to run a bash script and assign a hot key to it. I don't see where I can do that with Workflows. Am I missing something? Link to comment
kevindeleon
Nevermind...I got this figured out. Just started with an empty workflow and added triggers and actions...not completely intuitive coming from V1, but I can see how it could be powerful. Link to comment
JLM762
In Workflows , click +. This gives you access to blank workflow option but also built-in examples and templates. Select Templates>Files and Apps>Launch file group from hotkey. A new workflow will be set up. Double-click the Hotkey button, and in the sheet define a short cut for your workflow that won't clash with another OSX short cut. Click save. Next double click Launch Apps/Files and drag apps to the sheet from the Finder ( such as Mail and Calendar). Click save. You can now use your short cut to launch apps or bring them to the front if already launched. Not this information is titled Creat a Workflow in MacLife for June on page 87. Link to comment
