Is there a way to eliminate a specific folder from the search scope?

It seems no options for that ?

 

The best way to do this is to drag that folder to OS X's spotlight privacy prefs, wait a few moments then type 'reload' in Alfred :)

Just to clarify for those who are unfamiliar:

 

Open System Preferences from the menu bar

Click on "Spotlight"

Click on the "Privacy" tab

 

Then drag any folders you do NOT want searched into the field. You can also click on the '+' button at the bottom of the field to add folders or complete disks.

 

Image shown below at 50%, but should demonstrate:

So now, my "_temp" folder (and contents) will never show in Alfred results.
