mharding
Should it open the URL in the default browser. Edited July 5, 2013 by mharding
vitor
It works for me. You need to be more specific with what you’re trying to do. Are you using a workflow, are you simply typing the URL in Alfred, what exactly do you need?

Andrew
Clicking a URL in a Contact and nothing happens. I've just double tested and Alfred correctly opens the URL if you select a URL field in a contact. Could you double check the URL field in OS X's Address Book app is actually a URL field you are using, or just a note field.

Vero
Yes. It is an actual URL field. Hi Michael, It's a little tricky to provide any more insight without more details. In order for us to be able to help you, we'll need some more information so that we can identify what issue you're seeing. Here's what we need to see: A screenshot of the field in Contacts.app A screenshot of the field being edited in Contacts.app A screenshot of the item highlighted in your contact in Alfred Any additional information you can provide on the type I'd recommend fuzzing out email addresses/phone numbers if there are any in your contact card. If you're not able to hide the personal information, you can email us on info@alfredapp.com instead. Cheers, Vero

Wondering if there are special characters or something that would be throwing it off.
mharding
Figured out the issue. Clicking on a URL field only works with the URL starts with http://... http://www.alfredapp.com - Works www.alfredapp.com - Does not work alfredapp.com - Does not work Can it just not pass whatever is in a url field to the default browser? Can't figure out how to attach a screenshot to this forum.

You can expect a fix for this in a future release Cheers, Andrew
