Alfred stops responding to keystrokes

While typing into Alfred (using quick file search mode initiated by typing space), Alfred suddenly stopped responding to my input. I continued to type, and Alfred continued unresponsive. Closed Alfred, reopened. Alfred didn't remember my last query (the one that froze); a few seconds later, an update dialog from Alfred appears.

 

Alfred functions normally following incident (without installing update). The update was for v2.0.8 (212).
