joshuagarr Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I love using Alfred to open google docs from my local Drive folder. But I often already have a doc open in a tab somewhere. Is it possible to create a workflow that will reveal a browser tab if it exists? Ideally I'd have a workflow like this: Alfred search for "stuff" Found document in Drive folder called "stuff" If any open browser has an open tab called "stuff" then reveal that tab instead of opening a new tab. Thanks!

Thanks! I guess theoretically its possible (depending on your browser). Your browser would have to support AppleScript (so not Firefox) in order to search through the tab names (I believe that can be done in Safari and Chrome). If it didn't find it, open the file instead.
