RespondQuickly — Convert selected text to a QR code

This workflow is officially deprecated. There are alternatives in the replies. You can find the old source on Github.

 

Select some text, press the keyboard shortcut, and it’ll convert it to a QR Code that’ll be opened with QuickLook.

Update.

It now uses OneUpdater, so this should be the last time you need to manually update.

To update, download the latest version (same URL) or wait a few days (15 or less) and it’ll prompt you to on next usage, since it uses OneUpdater.

It’s in a temporary directory (created by the system, so no exact location I can point you to). Why do you ask?

I ask because I'd like to use the QR code anywhere, so I need the png file.

Update to the latest version. I’ve just added an option to save the image to the Desktop instead.

Decided to deprecate the Workflow. It will keep working for the foreseeable future but I encourage a look at @Torrey’s Workflow which uses native macOS features and works nicely.
