sirdharma
Greetings, Searching for contacts in Alfred behaves differently than Spotlight in the following cases, which I would love to see implemented in Alfred: Alfred does not match non-accented letters to accented letters while Spotlight does. For example I always enter "franc" when searching for my contact card (my first name is François). Spotlight returns all results containing "franç" while Alfred does not. Alfred does not match any contact when searching for the second part of an hyphenated name. For example I would like Alfred to match my friend François-Xavier when I enter "xav", just like Spotlight does. Alfred does not match any contact when searching for the second part of a name separated by a space while Spotlight does. I understand those situations must be less frequent for english speakers but they would mean a lot to me! Regards, François

Regards, François All of these things have already been addressed in Alfred 2.2 which will be in pre-release by the end of next week For now, try this workflow filter which can do diacritic (accented) insensitive and word based searching: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6749767/Alfred/Workflows/Contacts%20filter%20like%20v1.alfredworkflow Cheers, Andrew Tyler Eich and sirdharma
