sriggins
Howdy! I'm trying something pretty simple. I have an AppleScript that queries an app and gets a string that I want to use for a search. I cannot seem to get the output of that script as an input for a Default Web Search (I thought this would be nice to allow others to change which search it used) What am I missing here? vitor
Please provide us your workflow, or at the very least more information on it. Speaking of it in general terms is not very helpful — if we do not know how you’re approaching what you are trying to do, we cannot identify what is wrong. Link to comment

If I'm understanding your problem correctly, I don't believe Alfred is going to do this easily. Alfred doesn't allow you to string multiple actions together. I think about the closest you'd get to it is to, grab the string, and then use AppleScript to populate Alfred with a specific keyword and string that would execute the next action that you desire.
