URL Scheme for workflows

It would be awesome to have some sort of URL scheme so we could trigger workflows from other apps.

 

1. That way I could easily leverage apps such as Keyboard Maestro that let's me define keyboard shortcuts that only run in certain apps. That keyboard shortcut could then trigger a workflow in Alfred

2. Extensions could run in the background and then do some sort of callback to trigger additional actions, notifications etc.

I actually already have a ticket for adding an "External" trigger type for workflows, which can be called through Alfred's AppleScript interface

 

If this doesn't make it into v2.0, it will likely make it to v2.1

+1, especially to allow workflows to play with APIs requiring OAuth authentication
