wwwjfy
The situation is: A hotkey is created, with Argument: Selected text in OS X, then if nothing is selected when it's triggered, there is a "ding". As I understand, that's the sound from when you press command-c to copy something, but nothing selected, and I guess Alfred gets the selected text from the same way. So I wonder if there is any way to get around it, it's kind of noisy. Link to comment
wwwjfy
My current way is to mute "Alert volume" in Sound in System Preferences I don't see any downside so far Link to comment
dathin
Hey, Quite an old topic but just wondering if you found any other solution to that. The alert sound can be quite useful sometimes so I would prefer to keep it on…. best, Dionysis Link to comment
