packal workflows [query] — View/search for workflows by name/category/author/tag

↩ — Open workflow page on Packal.org in your browser

packal tags [query] — View/search workflow tags

↩ or ⇥ — View/search workflows with selected tag

packal categories [query] — View/search workflow categories

↩ or ⇥ — View/search workflows in selected category

packal authors [query] — View/search workflow authors

↩ or ⇥ — View/search workflows by selected author

packal versions [query] — View/search OS X versions and compatible workflows

↩ or ⇥ — View/search workflows compatible with selected OS X version

packal status — Show a list of workflows that are out-of-date or are available on Packal.org, but were installed from elsewhere (i.e. they contain no Packal metadata, so can't be versioned by this workflow or updated by the Packal update workflow).

I think I found the bug. I've fixed it (hopefully) and uploaded the new version (1.1.1) to Packal and GitHub.

It should fix the problem. You should force the workflow to update its cache first with packal update, however, as the cache will contain bad data.

Since a couple of weeks, the packal workflow in my laptop doesn't load the workflows... This is what I get when I try to update the workflow list:

Judging by the log output, you are using an outdated version of the workflow.

Try updating it.

Any chance of updating this for Yosemite? Most queries work actually, but not 'packal status', which was what induced me to download this in the first place, as it would help me update my workflows manually so that any customization is not lost by updating automatically through Packal.

Error: 'nothing found - try another query'.

The latest version (1.1.3) works fine for me on Yosemite…

You could try clearing the cache by entering packal tags workflow:delcache into Alfred. If that doesn't work, please post the results from Alfred's debugger.

That's not an error. If it were an error, it would say ERROR or CRITICAL, not DEBUG. Alfred's just wrongly reports it as an error.

There should be a lot more output than that. It should look more like this:

Thanks! Today I entered 'packal status', pressed enter, and got something like 'talking to the server' for an instant but then nothing. When I type 'packal status' and press enter, I get the message: 'nothing found - try another query'.

That likely just means that all your workflows are up-to-date and were installed from Packal (if available from there).

If you want to verify that, open one of your workflows in Finder and rename its packal subdirectory.

Run packal update and then packal status in Alfred. You should then see the workflow you just molested listed with a red question mark next to it (available from Packal but not installed from there).

You should probably then rename the packal subdirectory back again.
