Hotfolder support?

Hello there...

 

I'm a new Alfred user, so please excuse me if this is a total novice sort of question.

 

I recognize that Alfred can really do quite a lot with searching - which is amazing - but what I bought it for was prinicipally to enable certain types of business process automation and document handling, tagging, sorting and submitting to either iPhoto or Evernote.

 

A common "Input" method in business process software for document handling is Hotfolders.  More common today are hotfolders that then route documents to workflows based on metadata tags.

 

Does Alfred support this sort of behaviour?

What do you mean by "hotfolders"?

From your description, it sounds to me like you're looking for Hazel, i.e. drop a file in a specific folder and stuff happens to it.
