adamp64 Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 (edited) So basically you type in to Alfred something like "send message to Steve" ("Steve" would be just an example for a name in your contacts) and then a compose message box comes up for you to type in the body of text for the messages. This allows you to send iMessages very quickly and efficiently. Edited August 19, 2014 by adamp64
jdfwarrior Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 So basically you type in to Alfred something like "send message to Steve" ("Steve" would be just an example for a name in your contacts) and then a compose message box comes up for you to type in the body of text for the messages. This allows you to send iMessages very quickly and efficiently. This can be pretty easily accomplished with a workflow. This is the one I use.. After you import it, go to Features->Contacts and click the + to add a custom action. For the Contact field, select Phone and then for the action, select iMessage Phone Number. After you have this set up, search for the contact in Alfred, press Enter to see the Contact card for that contact, then select their phone number and press enter.
Ripcordian Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Check out the workflow "iM" by Nolan Chan, it's more direct imo.
