Shark.Formax
Hi, I just made a flat icon for Alfred. Alfred developers can use it for the next version so that it looks nice on OSX Yosemite. Let me know what you think. Illustrator file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/l0zp9abu8gdfl55/v1.ai?dl=0 - Dorian
vitor
Honestly, I think it’d look awfully out of place in Yosemite. The flatness is “wrong”. You’re using flat highlights and no shadows, everything is flat. Yosemite icons still use gradients and shadows, they’re not 2D.I’m not at all saying it’s a bad illustration. It’s not a good OS X app icon, though. In addition, I don’t feel like it’s good to provide only a .ai file. It’s a proprietary format, and one you need to effectively rent (not buy) an app to use. Particularly in such a simple illustration, there’s no reason to have such a limitation.
