I can't seem to find any description of the xml that the script filters use.

Can someone point it out to me please?

The lovely and talented David explains the whole kit and most of the kaboodle here. Since his post, the attributes "fileicon" and "filetype", explained by Andrew here, have been added to the <icon> tag, and the attribute "type" has been added to the <item> tag, as described in the b100 announcement.
