Alfred list of 10 last executed commands

Hello

I really like Executor on Windows because I launch it and I have a list of 10 recent programs

I know Alfred allows me to press 'UP Arrow' and traverse through the list of recent programs

However I would like to have a list of the 10 last executed programs, so I can press COMMAND + {NUMBER} and launch it

Here is a screenshot

Please don't tell me "Alfred already has that" because it doesn't.

Please tell me if you think it's a good idea, I REALLY like Alfred, but to this day I still believe Executor is something that I like more

For that sole reason

Sure. Technically, it's actually telling Alfred to call itself with your query, but the effect is the same.

Delete Alfred's default Hotkey in Alfred Preferences > General. In the Recent Commands workflow, add a Hotkey with the same key combination you use to open Alfred and connect it to a Run Script action set to /usr/bin/osascript. Paste the following in the Script box:

tell application "Alfred 2" to search "\\"

(Note, you need to use a double backslash to get a single backslash, as it's the escaping character.)

Now the problem is that I have to press DELETE every time I want to use Alfred

It's either | OR

Is there a way I can somehow tell Alfred to launch the 'Recent Commands' Workflow every time I press the Recent Commands Hotkey, but without actually sending the "\\" ?

Is there an option to add a 'Default Workspace' in Alfred 2?

When you open a workflow that way, you're "stuck" in the workflow. To enter a normal query, you have to close and reopen Alfred.

Basically, your choice is between opening Alfred with no history showing and having to enter \ to see it, or opening Alfred with history showing and having to delete the \ to enter a normal query.

I was able to mimic this behavior with the help of Keyboard Maestro. However, the result I read from sqlite db is not very good as it only contains the partial word I typed, not the real operation chosen. This makes the workflow not very useful
