jga23
It would be nice to be able to define a fallback search and set up action modifiers. Not sure if this is planned or not, but I'd like to see it added to v2
jdfwarrior
What additional actions would you want to perform on a fallback search other than the search that they are supposed to run? I'm not 100% clear on the intention of this feature request?
jga23
So I'm creating a workflow to add tasks to an application. Currently I have tk {task} with action modifiers to have the task due today and this week. I'd like to make it so I don't have to put any keyword before and I can just start typing the task and then hit ctrl-enter to make it due today or alt-enter to have it due this week or just enter to just add it to the list. does that make sense? jdfwarrior
You could do that now. Just copy the script and change the url. Add a second output to your keyword and set the modifier key that runs the second script. In alfred 2, you can have multiple outputs to a keyword. Double click on the line you draw between the actions to set a modifier key for that action
jga23
That's exactly what I'm doing right now for a keyword. I was expecting that to work for fallback searches, but you can't double click to set a modifier key.
Andrew
Just a quick note that this was added to b112 which is now available - you can now set alternative connections on a fallback trigger and access these from the default results fallback
