thanasut Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Recent Items for Alfred 3 Download now Thanks!! Carlos-Sz 1
ruby Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 why office documents can't be showed in the 'recent doc'? I will be very grateful if someone tell me the reason...
mbigras Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Just downloaded this workflow! Another great one from you Carlos-Sz, thanks for all your hard work so many thumbs up!
jakekei Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Thanks for the great workflow, it's the most helpful one I found so far for alfred. However, I have an issue with calling up recent folders. It's not the same list as in Finder-> Go -> Recent folders, but somewhat closer to creating a smart folder with options to search recently modified/ opened folders... I am using Finder in column view, and the smart folder approach is known not working well with it. I need to deliberately double click a folder to make it appear in smart folder.. Is it possible to make the workflow calling the finder's recent folders list directly? Jake
Cunning_Stunts Posted October 16, 2016 Posted October 16, 2016 I'm having trouble with the recent Downloads feature. Gets stuck on loading and the script runs wild in the background. Tried reinstalling - didn't help. Any suggestions?
Zee Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 I'm having the same issue as @Cunning_Stunts. Use the feature daily, if anyone has any suggestions, would be very much appreciated. Thanks
cands Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 (edited) Thanks for this most useful workflow, it saves a lot of time! I have a small issue (Alfred 3.1.1, OS X 10.11.6), I have changed some keywords, e.g. I use ".fav" for accessing favorites. It seems that this makes some of the functions not work as intended, e.g. when adding or removing a favorite the list of favorites is intended to show but instead just "rec Favorites ➣" is shown, not the list. Any easy way to fix this? Edited November 6, 2016 by cands

I'll make more tests but note that the workflow depends on Spotlight and, sometimes, it may be a good idea to delete the workflow and install it again. Note, however, that you will lose your customization. Finally, make sure to update Alfred 3 and use version 4.2 of the workflow. 3 hours ago, cands said: Thanks for this most useful workflow, it saves a lot of time! Zee Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Hi @Carlos-Sz, strange yeah I'm definitely using the same versions as you but no luck. I've deleted a few times and reinstalled, cleared cache too. Thank you for testing anyway, i'll try and find another solution.Z
Cunning_Stunts Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 @Zee, @Carlos-Sz, Same here - tried removing and installing fresh and have the latest version of Alfred and the workflow. No luck. I ended up installing another workflow that just handles recent downloads for now: https://github.com/ddjfreedom/recent-downloads-alfred-v2
Zee Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 @Cunning_Stunts @Carlos-Sz strangely this just started working for again randomly this morning. Hadn't done anything different since testing yesterday.

syrupcore Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Hello and thank you Carlos for this incredibly handy workflow! Was wondering if there's a way to add Servers as a category (like the Apple Menu->Recent Items has). The link in the description/help file to "Alfred Metadata Analyzer" no longer works so I'm not sure where to start.
wallace Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 thank you @Carlos-Sz .. this is a great script.. i just find one quirk with it.. i share a folder to several co-workers on the network, and it seems the files that they access show up in the results. I hope this can be fixed. thank you.
j2thex Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Hi guys! Can somebody tell me what is PNG file type? I can't get custom category to work. Thanks ?

chezluc Posted April 3, 2017 Posted April 3, 2017 @Carlos-Sz Also would love the link! Thanks! Beery and patgilmour 2
patgilmour Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 @Carlos-Sz - The DropBox link on Page one of this discussion doesn't work any more (as per above) – any chance of a fix?
cblock Posted April 19, 2017 Posted April 19, 2017 Anyone can just up a mirror please? Drop it here? The download link has been broken for a while... patgilmour 1
Carlos-Sz Posted April 21, 2017 Author Posted April 21, 2017 Updated link: Download thanasut and cblock 1 1
