runofthemill Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 (edited) Nothing particularly fancy here, but I've been using Helium (www.heliumfloats.com) a lot recently to watch videos while I work, since it provides a floating browser window for OSX that videos can play "full screen" in. Helium is rather new, so it has some limitations, including only being able to have one window open at a time. Because of this, I end up closing the app if I'm not watching a video, which means I'm less likely to use it (since it's closed) when I come across a youtube video. So, I made a quick workflow! Keywords: h: - open Helium h:{query} - open Helium and URL as provided in query; no space in between keyword and query! Download from github here. Edited August 25, 2015 by runofthemill
Thomas_U Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 hi, nice one, Thanks! I wonder if it is possible to have the workflow automatically get the URL from Safari's top window...
xilopaint Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 hi, nice one, Thanks! I wonder if it is possible to have the workflow automatically get the URL from Safari's top window... Would this be possible, @runofthemill? I have thought about something like this workflow for sending URLs to helium.
txaidw Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 (edited) I made this new Workflow for opening the current Safari tab video on Helium! Its available here: https://github.com/txaidw/OpenInHelium_AlfredWorkflowI hope you enjoy! Edited November 9, 2015 by txaidw
