Description

Scan and convert PDF documents and images of text into editable and searchable files using FineReader with Alfred.
 

Usage

Using file actions or hotkeys the user can convert one or more PDF documents and images of text (.png and .jpg) into searchable PDFs, Word documents (.docx) or Excel worksheets (.xlsx).

Hi, I love the FineReader workflow to auto OCR docs. I noticed the workflow works on the Web-downloaded version. How can I get it to work on the Mac-Downloaded version. When I run the scrip on the Mac-downloaded version I get the below error:

Error -1728 : System Events got an error: Can’t get file "Macintosh HD:Users:

What version of FineReader are you running?

Is this the App Store version or the website version? Also, are you running Alfred 3 or 4?

This is the App Store version - I am running Alfred v4

Please, test the build of this link and tell me if it works for you.

It did not worked. When first ran, it asked me to select Fine Reader and I did. But the script did not ran. I delete it and import it several times but it did not asked me to select Fine Reader

Please, post here the output of the Debugger as you run the build I've sent you.

Unfortunately I can't reproduce your issue without the App Store version installed.

Hi I just tried this workflow and am getting an error:

Error -1708 : ABBYY FineReader PDF got an error: "Sample File.pdf" doesn't understand the "«event FR 73»" message.

I am running Alfred 5.0.2 and ABBYY FineReader PDF version 15.2.6
