From selection to workflow using hotkey? Help

Workflow currently: make selection in OS X → hit hotkey → Alfred window appears with selected text → hit enter → script is run (i.e., text is processed as designed).

 

I'm looking to bypass the Alfred window and just go straight from hotkey (after selection) to script. Is there a way? That is, without having to first copy the text to clipboard? Or is there a way to automate the copying part?

 

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Have your hot key box feed directly to a script box. You do not have to go through a input box if you do not want to edit the input first. I have a test workflow just like that you can download here:  https://db.tt/m1VslfOW
