KingKrimmson
I too am having an issue with snippets. Initially, after installing Alfred 3 this morning (loving it btw), I was not able to get snippets to work at all, even after allowing accessibility to the Text Service. HOWEVER, after quitting Alfred and starting the app again, the snippets are at least being recognized. If I type a keyword, the text is properly detected and removed, but nothing is put in its place, it simply disappears. THIS functionality is happening in all my other applications so it doesn't seem to be app specific either. Also, sometimes, but not always, an error sound plays after the replacement. This happens in the URL bar for instance, but not in this forum form for some reason Any help would be greatly appreciated! http://screencast.com/t/LZ4skGs2V7 Edited May 18, 2016 by KingKrimmson

What's the content of your actual snippet for that particular expansion? In cases where you hear an error sound, that's likely to be due to not having focus anywhere, in the same way as in any app, where no field is selected and you try to paste your clipboard content; you'll hear the OS X error message. And finally, can you think of any third-party apps relating to clipboard management that could be interfering with pasting? Cheers, Vero
KingKrimmson
I have been testing snippet functionality with just the ASCII art collection, which I haven't modified and are all turned on. In the middle of writing this post, I figured out why this is happening!!! But would LOVE if there's a work around =\ Here's the issue: I'm really more of a PC guy, but do development work on a Mac. Therefore, I've changed a lot of the Mac keybindings to be more like PC (this includes copy, paste, cut, etc.) After removing the Paste keybinding override, snippets is working fine. It seems this is because Alfred depends on this default keybinding. I tried creating an override for "Paste" in Alfred 3 to set it back to the default keybinding but that didn't make any difference =\ Can this functionality be modified to reflect global keybinding changes? I've discussed this with Andrew and, as this is such an edge case, I can't promise we'll be able to support this, but we'll keep it in mind. Moving the thread to Noted.
