digisam
Upgraded and using Alfred 3 without any problems. Is it safe to remove Alred 2 and the ~/Library/Application Support/Alfred 2 folder? (obviously after first taking a backup before I do) I ask because I know my 1Password still uses the '1Password 4' folder even though I am using version 6 Thanks Link to comment
deanishe
If you don't need them any more, yes. Alfred 3 keeps all its stuff in its own directory. Link to comment
digisam
Future readers should be aware that I have since noticed that some Workflows are using `Library/Application Support/Alfred 2/Workflow Data/` as the path has been hardcoded into the scripts. So back up the folder first and remove it so that if Workflows are using the old path then they will be easier to spot and fix Link to comment
Andrew
It's also worth noting that Alfred 2 and Alfred 3 have the workflow data folder as an environment variable - it's best practice to use these in your workflows instead of hard coding as it helps compatibility. Link to comment
digisam
Agreed, it is just something I thought others should be aware of as there are a lot of Workflows out there, each in their own various state Link to comment
