wagninger
Hi! I wanted to have 2 little buttons in the Alfred Remote App that allow me to increase and decrease the brightness of the Mac, basically like the F1 and F2 keys are supposed to do. Sometimes, the functionality of those keys is disabled - like in a fullscreen game. How do I go about this? Link to comment
Andrew
If you can change brightness in OS X via the terminal, then you can easily setup Alfred Remote to run these scripts on your Mac. A quick look on google shows a few different methods: http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/34884/how-can-i-dim-the-screen-from-terminal You'll probably need the one which doesn't simulate keypresses (i.e. https://github.com/nriley/brightness) as if these are disabled in a game, they won't work from remote.
