daemon
Getting the same problem. The milkmaid gem works for me, the controller.py works for me, but alfred just say "Fetching data" Link to comment
vid luther
For the people who are getting the "Fetching data" error, can you try doing sudo gem install milkmaid? I believe some of you are having issues with RVM, and location of milkmaid. To the OP, any chance of putting the code for controller.py on Github so we can send some pull requests? Link to comment
panrubius
Hey there, thanks for the contribution; if I get it working it's going to be absolutely invaluable! I have milkmaid up and running perfectly inside the terminal, but I'm getting "Fetching Data" each time I tried to use the workflow; I get the "Fetching Data" message for about three seconds and then Alfred changes and asks if I want to search Google for the term "RTM" I've also downloaded controller.py and each time I try to run it I get the following error: <!DOCTYPE html><html lang="en" xmlns:fb="http://ogp.me/ns/fb#" xml:lang="en" class="" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><head><script type="text/javascript">window._document_observe_listeners = []; document.observe = function(event, func) { window._document_observe_listeners.push({event: event, func: func}); }; window._jquery_ready_handlers = []; jQuery = function(handler) { window._jquery_ready_handlers.push(handler); }; function on_script_loaded(func) { (window.LoadedJsSuccessfully && document.loaded) ? func() : document.observe('script:loaded', func); }</script> <link href="https://dt8kf6553cww8.cloudfront.net/static/images/favicon-vflonlsct.ico" rel="shortcut icon" /><link href="https://dt8kf6553cww8.cloudfront.net/static/css/main-vflmxWhcl.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" /><link href="https://dt8kf6553cww8.cloudfront.net/static/css/web_sprites-vfloh7ssY.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" /><link href="https://dt8kf6553cww8.cloudfront.net/static/images/dropbox_webclip-vflO8tEZ4.png" rel="apple-touch-icon" /><link href="/w3c/p3p.xml" rel="P3Pv1" /><script type="text/javascript">window.ST=+new Date();</script><meta content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" http-equiv="content-type" /><meta content="Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily. msdark
Seems to be a nice work.. but, i can't download from the dropbox link that you posted. When i try this URL i get a 404 error. Link to comment
MystykRiver
I have modified the original post and changed the download link so that it works. I also have added the code into a github repository. Unfortunately I don't have time to work on this at the moment. If anybody feels like running with it, go ahead. I will still monitor this forum thread and help when I am able. Link to comment
redzep
First time poster, and I just wanted to thank MystykRiver for this brilliant workflow. I managed to install it flawlessly using the sudo install method. My only question (and pardon my idiocy) is understanding the options... I type in rtm and get a drop down menu with "add a task..." and then command-1, 2 3 etc. for inbox, personal, study etc. does this mean I can assign the task i'm adding to those categories? It would seem so but I can't figure out what order or syntax is needed in order to make that happen. thank you for all your help in advance... Link to comment

When you type rtm, it will list your "Lists" and you can drill down into them to dispose tasks (you can't add tasks through the drill downs). If you want to add a task, just type "rtm add" and then the task you want to add (you can use rtm smart notation). Link to comment

alanjones19
Hi! Just a heads up to RVM users, if you change the script source in the workflow from: python controller.py {query} to: source ~/.bash_profile python controller.py {query} it should start working. You need to set the environment correctly for RVM to work. Alan Link to comment
