Text after {query} ignored in notification

Recommended Posts

I made a very simple osascript that loves the current track in iTunes, returns the title and posts it as a notification, using {query}.

However, any text I add after {query} is not displayed in the notification.

@ohennig make sure that the passed in {query} hasn't got a trailing line feed, as it could be that "has been loved" is just on the next line. This is very likely if you are outputting from AppleScript which adds a line feed by default.

You can use a transform utility object before the notification to trim the whitespace.

Ah, of course. Should have thought of it, since I've had problems with the line feeds before.

Edit: Transform worked like a charm, so no bug!
