snippets cursor placeholder default text

Is it possible to have some default text show up in a snippet with the {cursor} placeholder?

 

%<area("{cursor}")>% expand to: %<area("object_id")>%

 

with object_id selected ready to type in the replacement text?

 

 i'd like a way to remind me what i need to enter basically. ty
