[Fixed] Search iTunes Store w/ feedback
hankydysplasia replied to phyllisstein's topic in Share your Workflows
I modified this workflow so that I have any searches for iPhone apps also post a notification to Prowl so that pushes the URL to my iPhone and iPad. That was I can just automatically open it on there. Love this workflow. -

Love this. It's nearly perfect. Any chance you could add location to the reminders syntax? "r Take out trash when I get home" "r Take out trash when I arrive [at] home" "r Take out trash at home" "r Take out trash arrive [at] home"

David Ferguson created this one here which blows the results back into Alfred: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/488-easy-way-to-create-web-searches-with-results-in-alfred/?p=2296

I'm not a programmer, but I have many websites I would love to use more thoroughly with Alfred. I would love an easy way to populate Alfred with search results like the wikipedia and Google Autocomplete workflows do. Take pubmed for example. When I open a search query, and inspect the web page elements, everything under class="title" is what I would want to blow into Alfred. These are all also links so the action would obviously be following the link. On Rotten Tomatoes, it's similarly identifiable. I just need a shell created so that I can put that information in. I tried to adapt the wikipedia script for PubMed, but with no programming knowledge, failed. Here was information I was trying to use: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK25500/ Any chance this could be implemented in a drag and drop method or some way to get the result you want into the workflow builder?

Ya, I thought I had done this. Still isn't working. Here's a couple screenshots. Still doesn't work for me. I even replaced the name in the comment section for kicks. That didn't help either. :-)

Thanks. FYI you can do this in the custom searches list. To make it more workflowy, I've added MeSH search with ALT. I've also made the logo transparent instead of white so that it looks better with themed backgrounds. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/417808/Search%20PubMed.alfredworkflow

Made the 2 changes after start edit with my computer name, user name, and dropbox ID number. I use the hotkey. I get the notification, but the file does not transfer and the new address is not copied.

My first trial at a workflow. It's very simple. doc - creates a new document; ss - spreadsheet; pres - presentation; draw - drawing. Opens in default browser. Also for Google Apps users, there is a "alt" modifier. If you update the URL with your domain, you can also open a new document within Google Apps. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/417808/googledocs.hankydysplasia.alfredworkflow Also on AlfPT I don't have any programming skills, but I can click buttons with the best of them! Also added icons. If someone could program a way to name the doc with an argument after the keyword, that would be awesome. Otherwise, enjoy my version.

I created it before I looked around these other workflows. Looks like a lot of people have the same idea. ha. Screenshot taken and uploaded with this workflow by neamtua: http://www.alfredforum.com/index.php?/topic/385-take-a-screenshot-and-upload-it-to-your-ftp/ Searching using this workflow by phyllisstein: http://www.alfredforum.com/index.php?/topic/373-fixed-search-itunes-store-w-feedback/

The theme I created for myself. The selected text appears at the same darkness as the query text.
