For me it didn't work, I had various theories and tried various things, to no avail. All of a sudden they started working, and have worked ever since. Weird.

In the help, it says:

If you prefer starting with a Blank workflow, click on the + button in the top right of the workflow canvas to start choosing objects to add to your workflow.

However, when I click on the only + button I see, something pops down that says: "Add remote page". What I would like to see is a list of objects. Where are the objects?

I found the "All Workflow Objects", but that seems to be documentation, not a place to actually get the objects for my workflow.

What am I missing?

So there's no way to simulate keypresses from within Alfred? For some reason, I interpreted a recent change log as saying you could do that, but maybe that was not the intended meaning of: "Update simulated key events throughout Alfred for improved reliability"

I'd like to open a file, select all, copy the selection, close the file, and paste. 

It's not text. It's a jpg file, which is opened by Preview.

Is there a way to do that?
