Can I link a local file to a google translate document query? in Workflow Help & Questions Posted June 2, 2020 · Edited June 2, 2020 by shahar.kadmiel I would like to use Alfred's builtin `Translate '{query}'`, which uses google translate, to translate local PDF documents in addition to text strings. I know that a link to an online PDF file can be passed to a google translate query in the following way: http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=nl&u=`<URL to any online PDF file>` to translate an online PDF file. This works as expected if I pass the URL to the online file as the query part in Alfred. But that does not seem to work for local files. Is there a way to link local files? I've searched for Alfred workflows that do that but could only find more variations of the builtin translate functionality.
