Admittedly it's beyond my experience. I can follow the script but I don't know how to pass a URL to it.

If Keyboard Maestro is easier, I'm okay with that too.

Fix: I don't know if this is safe, but I ran my entire Applications folder through the app Permissions Reset, which immediately fixed the problem with both Alfred and Spotlight.

Same problem here, except on Mojave latest.

Is this possible with Alfred?

When selecting a Bookmark in Alfred, check to see if tab already exists in Chrome, if so go to it, if not then open in new tab.
