I've been mulling over this for some time now. Unfortunately Appigo doesn't support apple scripting, and that's pretty much how I write my scripts. I'd be willing to explore it though if you want. What kind of functionality are you look for?
I'm interesting too for this workflow. Would be great to have ability simply add task with support of intelligent parsing (guess this should do the application), like quick add task window.
