I installed Python 2 to get this workflow to work, but when I select a search result it just brings the Music app up front with whatever page is currently open (my library, almost always).

EDIT:  RESOLVED.  I wanted to see if doing a search would make Alfred start Chrome.  I had to go to the Activity Monitor to force quit Chrome but afterward Chrome was working as before.  So if you have the same problem, quit Chrome and try again.
 

 After updating to Chrome 89.0.4389.72, I can't use Alfred to search.  
 

Opening the Alfred window and typing in a search or even "g [query]" results in no action except the Alfred window disappearing.

If I switch the default browser to Firefox or Vivaldi, Alfred works as expected.

Maybe the takeaway is I should stop using Chrome.

So I take it this isn't a known issue and others have gotten "next track" to work properly?

I have a hotkey set up to activate "next track" in the Music app, but when I use it, it skips to the next album instead of the next track in the same album.

I don't know if this is a bug or a problem with how I made the workflow.

Still opens web page first, still artist only but you don't have to use the exact name.

Okay, this kinda works:

Problems: 1) opens web page before going to iTunes; 2) searches only by artist; 3) must search by exact name ("The Mountain Goats" not "Mountain Goats"); 4) must enter search with no spaces ("themountaingoats").

Looking for a better solution...

itunes://ax.search.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSearch.woa/wa/search?term={query}

This no longer works with iTunes as of the 9/12 update.  It will shunt you over to iTunes, but no search is performed.

Anyone know how to do it now?
 

I was using this address to search the iTunes Store: itunes://ax.search.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSearch.woa/wa/search?term={query}

iTunes 12.2 breaks this.  Anyone know what I can use instead?
