sagemintblue
So strange.. In my Alfred app v5.0.5 preferences I have my hotkey set to command-space, but I'm only able to trigger Alfred via option-space. I've reviewed all steps in the "Using Cmd + Space as your Alfred hotkey" article here:https://www.alfredapp.com/help/troubleshooting/cmd-space/ I've also double checked that my keyboard configuration hasn't swapped any modifier key assignments around-- Command and option keys act normally everywhere else, both on laptop keyboard as well as external keyboard (connected to laptop via monitor usb hub). Any ideas? Link to comment
sagemintblue
I think this may have been a bad interaction with a manually configured Alfred settings path pointing to a Dropbox folder and the recent Dropbox migration of local file storage to a "secure" path: https://help.dropbox.com/installs/macos-support-for-expected-changes I toggled the Alfred settings path, selecting the new Dropbox folder path, then restarted laptop, and now command-space is properly triggering Alfred.
