Beery
Is there a way to search within folder after navigating into it? that is, once Alfred found a folder base on my search, I'm using cmd-arrowdown (or in my case right arrow) to get the list of files in it. Now I want to search for a particular file (one time it can be an excel file, another time some name match etc). Link to comment

Now, this isn't the same as performing an actual search so it wouldn't traverse multiple levels. It would simply allow you to filter what is visible within that folder. Is that what you are looking for? Also, you can use wildcards when filtering them as well so, *.xlsx would filter and show Excel files Beery 1 Link to comment
Beery
Nice. Although appending the search string to the full path is confusing (at least to a newbie like me) since it gives the impression of looking for a file which starts with that string. Maybe a dash would be better as a separator? Link to comment
Beery
Using *.pdf, the order seems to be lexicographical - is there a way to sort differently e.g. by last modified/access time? Or would that be the time to go into Finder? And if so - how can the filers be carried into Finder (as right now I need to repeat it there)? One more usability question, I'm using long file/folder names and so being able to see the full name e.g. on the right hand side (below the preview, next to size, access time etc), would be useful for me.
