@vitor thank you so much for your help. (I need to read the pref screens to see all the things I'm not taking advantage of)

As soon as I enter a period when searching for a file, Alfred thinks I want to visit a URL.

I want to find a file by its extension. I know I have a font Elroy.woff, but I want to find Elroy.woff2

I would like to be able to type Elroy.woff2 or perhaps .jpg vs. .png to find a specific file.

In short... how can I turn off the default for Alfred thinking a "." is automatically me typing a URL.

THANK YOU! I was able to find the preference app within the Alfred 3 bundle (when I chose "Show Package Contents"). I had the hat turned off in my menubar for version 2, so that wasn't showing up.

CMD + , (comma) is PERFECT!!!

So excited - just powered up Alfred 3. But, I don't see the gear icon in the search bar to be able to access preferences. Thank you!
