finally got it work after 1) disabling cmd+space for language switching. 2) set the alfred toggle shortcut to cmd+shift+space 3) enable back the language switch shortcut to cmd+space

Thank you for your reply. I was using the keyboard shortcut Cmd+space for language switching. But how does that affect the shortcut Cmd+shift+space?

Hi all. I have just started to use Alfred. In the past, I bind my spotlight shortcut to Cmd-Shift-Space. It works fine. However, the same shortcut cannot be set to Alfred 2 even after changing/disabling the shortcut in the Keyboard Shortcut System Preference. I have checked all other tabs and does not have a key binding of command shift space. Please help!
